Original caption: 679-AC North Wall of long room. Marble-topped table from estate of Peter C. Brooks; skirt mirror underneath table for the convenience of ladies; Chinese rice bowl in center of table belonged to John Adams; on either end of table are three-branched, prism-trimmed candelabra. The gilt chairs at each end of the table belonged to Dolly Madison. Round footstools are covered in needlepoint.
